What strength CBD oil should I take?
It can be hard to find out what strength CBD you should take. This is because CBD oil is not a medically approved product.
Here at Simply CBD, we have a range of CBD oils in low, medium, and high strengths. Our products are designed to support those just starting out on their CBD journey, as well as those who may have been taking CBD for some time
The concentration you choose will depend on what benefit you’re hoping to get from the product.
If you have already been taking CBD oil for a while and find you are having to take multiple doses of CBD oil throughout the day, it may benefit you to move to a high strength oil. We would always recommend working up from the lowest strength until you find the dose that helps you achieve the benefits you’re looking for.

What is Full Spectrum CBD?
Because it is made with Full Spectrum CBD, you will be benefiting from all the essential oils, terpenes, and cannabinoids contained within the hemp plant when you take our Red CBD Oil. This oil is also high in both CBD and CBDa which is believed to be more beneficial than just pure CBD.
You will find that Full Spectrum CBD products contain small amounts of THC, the part of the hemp plant that produces the feeling of being ‘high’. This is completely normal and only low levels (up to a maximum of 0.3%) are allowed. This means that the THC contained in some Full Spectrum products is not strong enough to produce any psychoactive effects.
The ‘entourage effect’ will sometimes be discussed when talking about Full and Broad Spectrum CBD products. This is something that happens when different cannabinoids in a CBD oil work together in synergy. It is believed that these kinds of oils can produce a more beneficial effect because the various cannabinoids work together, creating an effect that is greater than any of the active ingredients are capable of creating on their own.
What else does Full Spectrum CBD oil contain?
As well as the all-important CBD, Full Spectrum CBD oil will contain lots of other parts of the plant. Many of these have their own associated health benefits.
Some compounds which you can expect to find in Full Spectrum CBD are:

Cannabinoids
The plant contains over 100 cannabinoids, which includes CBD, CBDa, CBG and THC. These compounds are what gives both its therapeutic and psychoactive (in the case of THC) effects.
Terpenes
CBD terpenes are natural compounds found in the flowers and buds of flowers. There are over 150 of these in the hemp plant, and generally affect the plant’s fragrance. For example, Limonene is what gives citrus plants their fresh fragrance, and Linalool is what gives lavender its characteristic calming scent.
Flavonoids
These are present in all kinds of fruits and vegetables. They are believed to protect against inflammation and to be powerful antioxidants. The plant has around 20 different flavonoids.

How to Use
“Start low and slowly grow” is the key to starting your CBD journey. This will allow you to slowly build up your endocannabinoid system and fully realise your sweet spot. Your endocannabinoid system works on a bell curve and if you take too much at once then you can go over the curve and overload which could result in having the opposite effect of what you’re hoping to achieve.
This is a rough guide only as each of us is different and unique. A slow approach may be more beneficial to you and increase fortnightly instead. The time frames below are examples, but a good guide to how dosing is recommended.
