DynaVap M 2019 vs M 2018 – What’s Changed?
DynaVap has just launched the 2019 version of the beloved M model.
DynaVap is a US-based manual vaporizer manufacturer and their products are admired across the world and becoming very popular in Australia as well.
The 2018 edition of the M has been one of our best selling manual vaporizers and DynaVap has re-engineered, redesigned and created a whole new level of functional geometry with the 2019 M.
What are the Updates on the 2019 M Compared to the 2018 M?
DynaVap has introduced a number of small changes to the new 2019 M, I’ll go through them one by one for you below.
New Grip Texture
DynaVap engineers added a new levNew Gel of texture to the grip, which even produces a cool optical play with the lights as you are turning it in your hands. You can see a little bit of that on the above picture.
Some ridges have also been added towards the bottom of the grip to act as a tactual indicator to let you know that your fingers are close to the part that gets hot.
New Serpentine Airflow
DynaVap introduced a new serpentine airflow channel that expends the contact with the air flowing underneath the VapCap so it has more time to heat up.
This newly developed serpentine airflow replaces the triple-double helix on the 2018 and this creative airflow design also introduces new kind of turbulence before it hits the updated cutting-edge geometry.
Cutouts on the Tip
The cutouts that the DynaVap titanium tips are known for have been introduced to the M to improve the airflow and to allow for easy packing of the chamber.
Now, all DynaVap VapCap products come with cutouts on the tip.
Airport Accentuated
The airport has been accentuated so it is much more tectal when you are trying to feel where the airport is.
They also added some additional facets around the airport so it is really easy to feel its location.
The “Rocker” on the New DynaVap M 2019
On the bottom side across the airport, they’ve added a “rocker”.
It is a ridge that is very distinctive for your fingers to let you know that you are completely opposite of the airport.
When you are holding the M 2019 between your thumb and index finger you can open and close the airport by rocking the M back and forth.
You can do this very precisely and play with the airflow by how much of the airport you cover with your finger.
Mouthpiece Geometry
The mouthpiece geometry has also been updated slightly, to make it a bit more round and smoother to ensure it feels a little bit nicer between the lips.
Not a huge change there as you can see above, but the mouthpiece is surely a little wider on the 2019 M.
Conclusion
After using the new DynaVap M 2019 for about 3 weeks at the time of writing this post, I am pleased to say that it is very good.
Do I notice much difference to the 2018 M? Probably not a whole lot, to be honest.
My favorite update is the rocker as it really helps to locate the airport when you are in the dark and can’t see properly.
Apart from that, I find 2018 just as good, but I still appreciate the small updates.
In other words, if you have a 2018 M, I wouldn’t necessarily rush into upgrading to the 2019 model.
The 2018 M is a truly awesome vape and the 2019 M model is a slightly improved version to keep up with DynaVap’s progressing engineering.
