Arizer Extreme Q Vaporizer – Manual operation 

Q: How can I turn on the Extreme Q Desktop Vaporizer?

A: Simply attach the cord and the power adapter, then plug it into the body of the Extreme Q and to the power outlet.
There are two options how to turn the vaporizer on:
1. Via the remote control, pushing the Power Key
2. Pressing the Power button on the front panel
You will hear a beep and the LCD display will switch on.

Q: I can see the Red light is ON when the Extreme Q is heating up, is that correct?

A: Yes, the ‘Heat’ light is solid red when heating. It might start blinking occasionally when the temperature is adjusting.

Q. Do I need to grind my herbs when vaporizing with the Extreme Q?

A: Yes, it is recommended to grind your herbs finely when vaporizing with the Arizer Extreme Q. If you are after a grinder, feel free to check out our grinder range here.

Q: Can I swap between Celsius and Fahrenheit?

A: Yes, you can easily do that. Please note, the Extreme Q’s default temperature display is set to Celsius. To change it to Fahrenheit, press the Menu button and by pushing the up/down buttons you can swap between the two metrics.

Q: How can I turn off the blue base light?

A: To turn the blue base light on and off press the light key on your remote control.

Q: Does the outside of the unit get hot?

A: No, not really. It’s made of high-grade dual wall stainless steel, which keeps the vaporizer unit cool.

Q: Does the Extreme Q come with auto shut off mechanism? How do I know when the device is about to switch off?

A: Yes, the device has an auto shut off mechanism. You can actually program your Extreme Q to automatically turn off for up to 4 hours.

To set it up, press the Menu button on the unit and navigate with the Up/Down buttons or press the auto shut off keys on the remote control. You can set the timer up for 2 hours or 4 hours. If you want to cancel the timer, then press 0h key.

Q. Can I operate the unit with or without the fan?

A: Yes, the Extreme Q works both ways, without the fan as well. You can control it using the Control Panel buttons on the unit or the Remote Control.

Control Panel Buttons: Press ‘M’ until you reach the Fan Speed icon and then using the Up/Down keys adjust the fan speed.
Remote Control: Press Fan Key 1 to turn it on and adjust the fan speed by pressing Fan Key 2-3. If you wish to turn the fan off, click Fan Key 0.

Q: What are those numbers on the remote control?

A: They are pre-set temperature keys (in Celsius). All you have to do is press one of them to select your desired temperature.

Q: I can see there are more numbers on the LCD display. What do they mean?

A: The large number shows the actual temperature of the unit and the small one shows the set temperature, that you wish to reach.

Q: My Extreme Q is beeping everytime when I push a button, is that ok?

A: Yes, you will hear a beep when pressing any button on the control panel or on the remote control.

Q: Can I turn the sound/beep off?

A: You surely can. Just press the up and down button to turn off the beeping sound on your Extreme Q.

Q: Why is the timer showing a green light?

A: The timer will turn into a solid green when it is activated. It indicates that the unit will automatically shut off at the programmed interval.

Q: What is the blue base light for? I really like it.

A: The Blue base light is an ample light for using your Extreme Q vaporizer in the dark.

Q: How do I use the whip system on this device?

A: Simply connect the Glass Elbow Adapter end of the Whip to the Cyclone Bowl and breath in through the mouthpiece in a gradual draw.

Q: What is the purpose of the fan when inhaling vapor?

A: This is to assist you while you are drawing, it basically helps with the airflow.

Q: How do I fill the balloon with vapor?

A: Simply connect the All-Glass Mini Whip to the Glass Cyclone Bowl, then join the collection Balloon through the Mouthpiece to it. Turn the fan on (recommended to use fan speed #3 – high fan speed) and wait while your bag is filling up with vapor. Once the balloon is full, turn the fan off and remove the mini whip from the cyclone bowl. Then disconnect the bag from the mini whip and you can start enjoying your vapor.

Q: Where can I find the serial number of my Extreme Q?

A: The serial number is located at the bottom of your unit.

Q: How do I use essential oils with this device?

A: Firstly, place the Aroma Dish on top of the heater. Then insert a couple of decorative rocks or a cotton ball into the dish. Add a few drops of your favourite essential oil on the top, and switch on the vaporizer. Enjoy!

Q: Do the glass parts get hot?

A: Yes, they do. Make sure you remove the cyclone bowl from the heating unit with extra care, garbing it at top around the black heat resistant wrap.

Q: What are the tubes made of?

A: All Whips and Mini Whips are made of non-toxic, food medical grade vinyl tubing.

Q: I’m vaping different dry herbs, do I need to swap the whips and use a separate one for each herb?

A: Some herbs may leave distinctive flavour/aroma in the tube, so it is best to use different tubes for each material. It really comes down to your personal preferences though.

Q: I’m using the collection Balloon System. How should I cover the mouthpiece to make sure the vapor won’t escape from the balloon?

A: You can just simply put your finger over the opening of the glass mouthpiece.

Q: What’s included in the kit?

A: Yes, after you turn the device on, your Extreme Q will automatically recall your last temperature used.

Q: What is the heat up time of the Extreme Q Vaporizer?

A: The normal Heat-Up time is between 2-3 minutes.

Q: What is the temperature range on the Extreme Q Desktop Vaporizer?

A: The Extreme Q temperature setting ranges between 50°C and 260°C.

Q: How long does it take for the Extreme Q to cool down?

A: The Extreme Q has a cool down time of around 2 minutes.

Q: I am not sure what temperature to use to start with? Any recommendations?

A: 200°C (392°F) is a good temperature to start with and then you can adjust it up and down depending on your personal preference.

Q: Can you tell me how to switch from one temperature to another?

A: Press the up or down buttons on the control panel to increase or decrease the temperature.

Q. Are the Glass Parts of the Arizer Extreme Q very fragile?

A: The Extreme Q Vaporizer uses the strongest borosilicate glass parts. However, make sure you take some extra care when assembling or cleaning it.

A: Sure, that’s not a problem at all. You can fully control your Extreme Q using its control panel and digital display at the front of the device.

Q: How do I clean the Heating Unit?

A: Simply turn the unit upside down and gently shake it to empty the debris.

Q: How do I clean the glass parts?

A: Occasionally soak them in rubbing alcohol and rinse with hot water.
And always make sure they are perfectly dry before using them again.

Q: Do I need to replace the balloon at all?

A: We strongly recommend to replace the balloon after using it extensively. Also, if you use your Arizer Extreme Q to vaporize different herbal materials, we suggest having separate balloons for each herb and purposes, as some herbs can leave strong flavours and aroma in the bag.

Q: It’s extremely hard to pull the glass parts apart, why is that?

A: If you wiggle back and forth the glass parts carefully, that should help pulling them apart. If the glass parts get stuck together, move them to a cold area and when they cool down they are easier to pull apart. However, when you come across this situation, it most likely means that it’s time to clean your parts.

Q: It takes quite a long time to fill in the balloon with vapor. Why is that?

A: If it takes more than 2-3 minutes to fill up your bag, you may need to pull the parts apart and give them a good clean. If cleaning does not solve the problem, you may consider replacing some parts, such as your dome screen and balloon.

Q. Does the Extreme Q Vaporizer come with warranty?

A: The ceramic heater has a Lifetime Warranty and the heating unit comes with 3-year manufacturer’s warranty on parts and labour.

Q: What is the warranty period and how can I make a claim?

A: The Extreme Q desktop vaporizer has a lifetime warranty on the heating element with a limited 3-Year warranty on defects in materials or workmanship. Glass is not covered under warranty. If you have any issue with your vaporizer, please fill in the Warranty Form, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Q: My Extreme Q vape is showing err code, what should I do?

A: The Error 1 code usually indicates a problem with the power adapter. More specifically, Error 1 codes usually indicate that the wrong power adapter is being used.

The correct output specifications are 19v 3.4A, if a different power adapter is being used, please find the correct one or purchase a replacement. However, if the correct power adapter is being used and the error still exists, then please fill in the Warranty Form, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
